FAUNA AND ENDANGERED ANIMALS IN JAMAICA
Birds
Jamaica is the country of the ornithologists, in this country can be find more of 240 species of birds: pelicans, owls, parrots and hummingbirds some species are endemic as the thrush of Jamaica a blackbird in endangered or the john crow a specie of vulture.

Butterflies
In Jamaica can be observed more of 120 species of butterflies as the macaón, considered one of the butterflies bigger of the world, you can also observe in Jamaica many fireflies, used formerly by the elegant women for the purpose of illuminating their collars.





Mammals
In Jamaica there is only an endemic species of mammals, the jutia de Jamaica a rodent endangered like the guinea pig and lives in the Blue Mountains and the heights of Hillshire Hills.

Reptiles
Jamaica has lot of species amphibians and reptiles like the lizards, the biggest of these is the iguana the funny geckos that make soundscharacteristic,nonpoisonous snakes, Frogs and toads. The most impressive reptile is the American crocodile that lives in the muddy waters of the south of the island.


Aquatic fauna
Jamaica an amazingaquatic fauna thathas more than 700 species of fishin the turquoise waters, there are the coral fish such as the parrotfish in deeper water live the manta rays. Tarpons barracudas andsharks. The sea turtles breed on the coast like the manatees marine mammals that unfortunately are endangered.

THE WETHER IN JAMAICA
The wether in jamaica is tropical humid all year the dry season is of december to april and corresponds with the tourist time. The temperatures range betweem the 19° and 30°C (in kingston) The rainiest season is of may to november. The less rainy months are May and October. The average ranfaill is of the 10mm of may to the 25mm of february (This is the driest month with a 62%  of humidity). In october the wettest monthis (75% of humedity) the rainfall can reach an average of  180mm. betweem august and september hurricane risk. In conclusion the weather of jamaica is tropical hot and humideven in mountain areas can be somewhat cooler.
